What's included and what's not?
All yoga and Pilates classes, shared accommodation, buffet breakfast, full use of Spa, bathrobes and slippers to take home, free herbala teas, fruit juices and fruit.
Flights, transfers, travel insurance, all other meals, treatments, excursions are not included.
Which levels of yoga and Pilates are catered for?
We cater for all levels of student: previous clients range from those with no experience whatsoever to those with many years experience. All postures and exercises will be modified to suit your needs.
I've never done Yoga or Pilates before. How will I keep up?
Yoga and Pilates are not competetive. Both the yoga and Pilates classes are run with modifications for beginners and challenges for more advanced students. The atmosphere is light and fun not overly serious.
Is it ok to join your holiday on my own?
The vast majority of participants come on their own.
Will there be other people my age?
The majority of participants are aged 35-60 but ages range from 20-75!
How do I get picked up from the airport?
We will arrange for a minibus to pick you up. This is only available if you book the recommended flights. Otherwise it is possible to take a train from Gothenburg to Varberg. The price for the minibus is £30 per person each way, payable in advance.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
No, the Yoga Studio is fully equipped with high quality yoga mats, blankets, blocks etc.
How much money will I need?
You'll need some extra money to cover meals not included in the price, other sightseeing, shopping, souvenirs and optional extras. There are plenty of lovely cafes, restaurants and a large supermarket where you can buy meals at a low price.
Prices are similar to the UK or even slightly cheaper.
How many people will be on the trip?
We have a maximum of 23 people per trip.
What is the single room option?
Most of our accomodation is in shared twin rooms. However, although not included in the selling price of the tour, the option of paying for a single room is available. The price is £75 for 4 nights.
What about food?
Varberg and surrounding areas has 50 restaurants and 20 cafes! You can find anything from simple meals for £5 to more expensive first class restaurants. We will be trying out the hotel restaurant the first evening (optional), which is an award winning restaurant.
We will also go to another Spa for dinner one evening (optional). This restaurant was awarded Best Spa Restaurant in Europe last year. These two evening meals are approx. £25 each.
There is also a large supermarket in Varberg and a market in the main square on Wednesdays, selling food, flowers, craft etc.
Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is compulsory for all bookings. Your insurance policy document is as important as your passport and should be carried with you on tour. Please ensure that you take your policy document (or a copy of the actual policy document) with you, as your tour leader will ask to see this at the start of the trip. Your documentation must show evidence that you are the named policy-holder and that the cover is valid for your period of travel. The documentation must also indicate that you have cover for at least Medical Expenses and Emergency Repatriation. Please ensure that a 24-hour contact telephone number for your Insurance Company is stated on your documentation in case of Emergency.
Do I need a visa?
All British passengers require a passport but no visa.
